Studio Policies

  • The studio season runs from September – June 15 every year

  • The first and last month Tuition fees are due at the start of the season, or when your dancer starts in a class.

  • All communication is sent via email; please make sure you have a current email address on file – if you need to update your email address please visit the portal

  • The studio season will consist of 36 weeks of classes held over a nine-month period

  • A student may join at any time from September through January 30th if there is space available

  • The studio will be closed for major holidays and school vacations

  • We kindly ask that parents arrive no more that 10 mins before their class time and if for any reason you will be late picking up your child please contact the office and leave a message with your name, your child's name and an estimated pick up time

Refunds and Credits

  • Registration + Costume Fees are non-refundable.

  • Credit will not be given for missed classes due to illness, snow days, or personal commitments

  • Alchemy Dance Collective reserves the right to cancel any class with insufficient registration and a full refund will be given

  • Alchemy Dance Collective requires 30 days notice for any withdrawals – Please email info@alchemydance.ca or call the office for a withdrawal form. There will be no withdrawals after April 1

Payments and Balances

  • Payments will be processed online through our software. You will be charged on the 1st of the month. ADC accepts all major credit cards. You can update your payment option at anytime through the portal. Should you require a different arrangement to make payment, please contact us.

  • Returned check or credit card decline fee is $50.00

  • Please check your online account online at any time to download and print off monthly statements

  • There will be a $30.00 late fee per month for any accounts that are 15 days overdue

  • Any student with an overdue balance of more than 60 days will not be allowed into class until payment in full is received or payment arrangements have been made

Missed Classes

  • Credit will not be given for missed classes due to illness, snow days, or personal vacations

  • If for any unforeseen circumstance ADC has to cancel a class the class may be made up, at the discretion of the studio

Snow Cancellations

  • Studio closings will be posted on our website, Facebook and when possible, you will receive an email.

  • We will hold classes except under exceptionally dangerous driving conditions, use discretion.

  • If ADC cancels a class, make-up classes will be scheduled during school vacations, no credits will be given if student cannot attend the make-up class
